Free Them All! Free Palestine!

On Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, Labour for Palestine - Canada salutes the heroic Palestinian prisoners and calls on all workers, unionists, and peoples’ of conscience to stand with Palestinian prisoners and advocate for their release and freedom.

The zionist entity continues to hold more than 9,000 Palestinians in their prisons where they face torture, abuse, assault, medical negligence, among many other forms of psychological and physical violations. Many Palestinian prisoners are held without a due process, in addition to not being allowed to see their friends or family members.

The Canadian government continues to support the zionist entity, ignoring their international legal obligations and the plight of the Palestinian people and their prisoners. If the Canadian government expresses concern, it’s through empty rhetoric and without even mentioning the crimes of the state of Israel, often without even naming them. 

Labour for Palestine Canada is calling on all of our supporters and allies to continue their steadfast support of the inalienable right of the Palestinian people, and to pursue our campaign and declaration that all goods, services, and relationships with the Israeli State are Hot-Cargo, and therefore untouchable by workers of conscience. Only workers and peoples equipped with moral-clarity and a conviction of liberation are able to force the government to respect the rights and struggle of the Palestinian people.
